Sadhu in Kiel

Very good food,

Super delicious lamb Korma, delivered faster on request despite Sunday evening, nice driver. Without lockdown, I wouldn't have come across it!

We placed our order today at 6:59 p.m. for delivery. After we hadn't heard anything about our order at 8:45 p.m., we tried to contact us by phone more than 15 times until 9:30 p.m. At 9:14 p.m. I got a short response on my Facebook request, in which I was told that the meal should be with us in 10 minutes. At 9:50 pm our cold meal came, which was partly sticky. I can absolutely understand it when there is a lot going on on Sunday evening, but we did not pay very little only to get unsatisfactory food after three hours.

Very great new restaurant in Kiel with good food and really attentive waiters (fast service, wipe the table in between, etc etc). The cocktails are also worth a look.

Food is delicious. Friendly staff. Respectful. Atmosphere has a nice and warm feel to it.

The waitresses are very attentive, the food tastes excellent and is not long in coming. In the outskirts there are patio heaters, people actually sat there (October 17th). Finally, you are accompanied to the exit. We were just satisfied and will definitely visit the sadhu more often.

My husband and I love this restaurant !! Very warm and friendly staff. The food is world class! The meat tender as butter and freshly prepared! We feel very comfortable there

I have been cooking Indian myself for many years and have been to around 80 Indian restaurants worldwide. Can really recommend this restaurant without reservation. Super delicious food and very attentive, friendly service.

It is a cool place to hang out with friends while enjoying amazing foods. I will recommend "tandoori " and "biriyani" but "Mango lassi" obviously.

To be honest, I was always looking for a Pakistani restaurant here in room SH. I was also allowed to try one or the other restaurant, but Sadhu is not only central, but also very easy to find (downtown Kiel). In terms of appearance, it is very classy / cozy. I would even say that the style is rather fashionable. The service is very friendly and courteous, they all know the menu by heart and can individually guess the taste of the guest. So we come to the main focus on DISHES: ... the food is served directly in the pan after a short waiting period ... this is of course very practical because the food not only looks appetizing but stays warm. I lean far out of the window and just say everything on the menu is excellent. We were there with a group of 15 people and everyone tried each of them -> everyone was enthusiastic = 100% !!! Thank you, we will definitely be regulars.

An okay restaurant for indian cuisine

Have often turn passed, once we were on the verge einzukehren there, why we did not do it, I honestly do not. But today we did. I was there with my mother. We were warmly welcomed and found space outside on the terrace. Emphasis on still because it was really well attended. The hygiene rules were adhered to, guests were also advised not to occupy certain tables or to sit down at a distance from the neighboring table. We have ordered No. 168 Chicken Vindaloo (Rigionale chicken specialty with baked potatoes) € 8.90, No. 169 Chicken hot Jhalfrezi (chicken flitet with various vegetables, with ginger, garlic and paprika) € 8.10 Carlsberg 0.3 € 3, 00, speci 0.4 € 3.30. At number 169 we asked whether it would be possible to not be served spicy, was no problem. After a short time we received a soup, ginger, curry, I would say now. Shortly afterwards the main course came. It was delicious. At the end we were handed a drink, a mango shake (very tasty). Conclusion, would love to come back, food and service great. The flyer differs from the menu in the restaurant (bread and salad were not served), my dish (168) is not on the flyer.

If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this is a must try restaurant for you. Excellent service with nice ambience.

New Indian restaurant and tested immediately ? The food is simply fantastic! ! ! you can tell it is cooked with heart here. The service super fast and attention!. Many other restaurants can learn a thing or two about it.

By far the best Pakistani / Indian in town. Excellent food, very good service and a beautiful location. Certainly not our last visit.

Awesome authentic Indian food and great service

Tried Indian for the first time with my partner and haven't regretted it. A really great location and very nice, polite service. The food tastes so good. We will be back definitely. Every dish has to be tried :)

The best chai I've had outside of India in 2 years. The food was delicious, the prices justified and the service just great! The only drawback was the non-carbonated lemonade, which went perfectly well because it was so delicious! Very clear recommendation!

Ate there on Thursday evening. The food is really excellent and wonderfully presented. Very nice ambience, especially in the evening. The staff was extremely friendly, really great. I have rarely left a restaurant with such a good feeling. I really hope the restaurant will continue to do so! In one evening it became one of my favorite restaurants in Kiel!

The Pakistani restaurant has been open for 1 week. Very nice outdoor area, lots of space between the tables without partition walls, also generous inside. The food is incredibly tasty and you get full without being stuffed, the price is reasonable and we were surprised, we ate much more expensive. Super nice staff. Highly recommended and it will certainly not be the last time I have been there. Definitely try the homemade iced tea and the chai. Everything is fresh and homemade.
